Cream butter, shortening and sugar together until light and fluffy. Add salt, vanilla, lemon extract and eggs. Mix well. Stir in flour. Mix well. Chill for 8 hours. Form into 1 inch balls. Place on baking sheet. Bake at 375 deg F. for 10 minutes. Brush with corn syrup. Sprinkle with nuts. Yield 5 dozen cookies.
